The Southern most municipality on the Costa Blanca, just above the province of Murcia (Costa Calida).
Pilar de la Horadada is essentially an agricultural town and there are two beach towns that come under the jurisdiction of the townhall, Mil Palmeras and Torre de la Horadada. The popular urbanisation of Pinar de Campoverde sits on the hills a few kilometres inland from the town.
“El Pilar” as the locals call it, has excellent sports facilities for a town of it’s size. It’s also boasts an excellent golf course, which is starting to attract investors, Lo Romero Golf Course
